Certain, obviously drunk members were holding out to have the team name be the Santa Fe Fish (Rocky mountain trout, big mouth bass, Santa Fe Fish will kick your ass). You know who you are Jack and Tom.

Having no wish to be a fish I lobbied strongly for Santos. Finally I went to Tiano's and had a T-Shirt made up in the team colors that said Santos. Since everyone else was too lazy or cheap to get their own T-Shirt and since Pete was so easily led, I got my way and the team became the Santos.

I still have the shirt in my T-Shirt archives with all those cheap High Desert Classic giveaways that the beer man contributed.
