Everyone, Sorry for the confusion concerning location on Saturday. The match will be in Santa Fe at the MRC, start time 1:00 pm. We have a few people out of town, and UNM will bring sufficient numbers for a potential B-side, so everyone roll out and be ready to warm up by noon. EVERYONE. We beat this side by two points at the Fiestas, and they're pretty worked up over it. There was a good showing with two sides then and it would be really encouraging to see everyone back Saturday. Although I'm sure that all of you think that "My vagina hurts" is the heights of creative humor, please be assured that Chip already hears that every night.

Captain selections were conducted last night at training. 4 nominations were accepted & Cory Micander was chosen as this year's field Captain by a plurality.

Ladies and Gentlemen, The time has come for the First Annual Santolympics. This day is a family orientated event that will consist of fun for the kids between the ages of 1 to 101. The format will be small teams competing in multiple games for prizes and everlasting GLORY! We will test each others skills in all of the games that should have made it in the International Olympics but are still in review by the current board. These games are as follows but not limiting to: Horseshoes, Bocce, Croquet, Egg throws, Three-legged race, Boat races, Quarter Relay races, Santo style Relay race, salsa contest (I am not talking about dancing either), water balloon fight, slip ‘n slide for the kids and much more. This will be a B.Y.O.B. with a Bar-B-Q/potluck feed so bring your favorite dish, an appetite and your coolers. Please email the website or call me on my cell at 505_795_1254, so that I can make a list of Bar-B-Q/potluck items so that everyone does not bring the exact same thing. There will be grills present for those grill master who want to hone and test their skills against the meticulous and relentless judging board. This event will begin promptly at High Noon at our beloved Santa Fe Rugby Football Complex on Saturday the 15th of July (that is this Saturday). If you know of anyone that doesn’t check their email or does not receive email then please inform them about this momentous occasion. Remember this could be your chance for everlasting glory! Our illustrious Webmaster, the Silver Fox (El Zorro Plato), Dr John Bent has done it again. We now have a Web-based calendar (under the Members link). Practices, parties, games, committee meetings etc can be posted. To start, there is no restriction on who can look at this calendar, but in order to post and event, please e-mail one of the board.
